Lindsay M.
Private tutor in Webster Groves, MO
Education
Senior Dramaturgy/Theatre Studies and French Major at Webster University
Experience
I volunteer Wednesday afternoons at an after school program. I mainly work with 3rd-5th graders on homework and tutoring. I received a 25 on my ACT when I was in high school. I want to be a tutor because I love working with children, and I believe I can be a great role model for people younger than I. Since starting college I have taken both conversational and grammatical French classes and will continue to do so. For my theatre degree, I have take courses in playwriting, theatre history, theatre design, acting, and dramaturgy. I worked as a dramaturg in our conservatory's production of Big Love by Charles Mee. I participated in multiple staged readings and will be working with a local theatre company this summer on an internship. I have traveled to France twice in the last three years. The first time I went to Paris, and the second time I went to Nice. Summer of 2014, I worked at a summer camp for 3 months in southern Illinois. Ages 6-18 attended over the course of the summer, and it was a very enjoyable experience.

Hobbies
I love to travel! I hope to one day visit every country in the world. I enjoy reading, going to concerts, and watching films. Family and friends are very important, so I try to keep in touch as much as possible. I love food! I'm excited to try new dishes and visit new restaurants. I really enjoy theatre. Anytime I have the opportunity to see a play, I go! My new interest is lifting weights. It is important to stay healthy!
