Learn French from a native French speaker, accept no substitute. To me, foreign languages have always been a passion and learning them is a challenge that I always look forward to. I will help you achieve your goal in learning a romantic language, a language that has been around for centuries. I enjoy sharing the customs and culture of my native country, and I am willing to pass down information from one person to the next. By using a custom method for each student, depending on skill level and motivational factors, we will attain those goals together. I have been actively teaching the English and French languages for 20 years. I was born and raised in Montelimar, France. At 8 years old, I attended an English Academie in Montelimar, afterwards at the age of 11, I started teaching English to my friends. By the time I was 12 years old, I travelled to England annually to stay with a family in Wiltshire, as part of a student exchange program. Those experiences gave me skills, which blossomed into a passion, that I have used to help American students learn French. I earned a Bachelors Degree in FLE ( Francais Langue Etrangere- French as a Second Language). I also earned a Bachelors Degree in English Literature and Civilization, majoring in Secondary Education. After living in the United States for 18 years, I decided to help Americans learn French the proper way, as a native French speaker. I am hard but I am fair, and I understand there is a difference in cultures. My goal is to produce top notch French speakers in a very short amount of time. I am all about the details, phonetics and the difference between "DU" and "DE" (yes, there is a difference). I currently tutor for the Department of Veterans Affairs ( Le Departement des Anciens Combatants), our local French Cultural Center, as well as providing private language lessons to various clients. I can help you with your French studies at any level. If you are having a hard time in class, just want to travel to France or if you are simply eager to learn the language, don't look any further.
